Coffee in the United States is served by three kinds of places: national chains with drive-thrus and mobile ordering, independent neighborhood cafes that double as a workspace or a meeting spot, and specialty shops that roast their own beans or buy single-origin lots and brew them by pour-over, espresso or cold brew. Most open between 6 and 7 a.m. on weekdays, slightly later on weekends, and the busiest hour is the commute rush before 9. A drip coffee runs a few dollars, espresso drinks and specialty pours more, and tipping a dollar or a percentage on the card reader is customary but not required. Nearly every cafe offers free Wi-Fi, though some limit laptop seating at peak times or on weekends, and outlets are often the scarce resource.
The business lists hours on 7 days of the week. On most of those days it is open 6:30 am–5:30 pm. Los Angeles is in California, on the West Coast, where the climate ranges from foggy coast to hot inland valleys, wildfire season can affect air quality in late summer, and traffic is the main thing to plan around. US addresses list the street number and name, then the city, state abbreviation and ZIP code, and Los Angeles follows the same pattern; a suite or apartment number such as Ste 200 refers to a unit inside the building. The map link on this page shows the exact spot.

There's a lot of good coffee out there. This cappuccino was extraordinary. They have a variety of tasty pastries and an elegant atmosphere, very convenient to the Biltmore in downtown LA.

First time visited this place. It's small but quit Cafe. There are several seats in and outside. I took a place outside. I ordered a cup of cappuccino and a cake. They were very tasty. Wait time was short. Service was great. I enjoyed time spent there and plane to visit Dalian's Cafe again

Great coffee & pastries with speedy and courteous service. The 80’s music was an interesting choice (maybe encouraging late afternoon sing-a-longs), but if you need a little pick-me-up, it’s worth the stop.

I happened to be in Downtown LA and, as always, my wife and I were on the hunt for a good coffee spot. We came across Dalian’s and decided to give it a try. We ordered a cappuccino, a ham and cheese pastry, and another pastry. The coffee was great, and the pastries were delightful. The service was excellent and made the experience even better. On a side note, I really needed to use a restroom during our visit. Although they don’t have a public restroom, the owner kindly gave me access to the hotel restroom next door, which I thought was a very thoughtful gesture. Overall, this is a great spot and definitely worth a visit if you’re in the area. I would happily recommend it and look forward to coming back. Coffee: 5/5 Pastries: 5/5 Service: 5/5 Overall: 5/5

I found this coffee shop online and decided to give it a try. It’s a delightful little cafe with a large customizable drink menu next to the historic Biltmore Hotel. I do not drink coffee anymore so I was going to get a matcha latte but noticed they had a turmeric ginger latte on their menu - I was psyched! Jerusalem was the barista that took my order and gave me a good recommendation on what milk to try. Following her advice, I opted in for the macadamia milk and it gives the latte a really foamy delicious flavor! Parking can be a little tough and there are just a few tables (most of them outside) that can seat two or three people at most. So as long as you don’t go with a big group, you’re just fine. Next time I venture around downtown, I will definitely come back for another latte ☕️
